There are a lot of ways and articles that tells us how to lose weight, "How to get ripped in 30 days," "How to get abs in 4 weeks," etc. But, what is the right way to lose that stubborn fat?
And it all falls down to, how?
Limiting your calories or "Crash diet" and hitting the gym would not be the best way to do it, this might put excessive stress of our body. To emphasize what is crash diet - this is when someone instantly wants to lose weight by cutting food consumption on a short period of time. Most likely, at some point, one fails to accomplish his/her diet due to the restrictions they put in their bodies. So how can I get to lose weight without severely inflicting stress to my body?
  • Combine weight-lifting and cardiovascular exercises. This will be your partner throughout your weight-loss journey. The more muscle you have means more fat are burn while you rest. However, losing weight can cause sagginess of certain body parts, this is where weight-lifting comes, it builds your muscles to support and create the firmness of your figure.
  • Know what you eat, not all fats are bad. Trans fats & saturated fats can raise your cholesterol and can increase your chance of having a heart disease. However, monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats are the opposite, it reduces your hunger and minimally affects your blood sugar. When your blood sugar is low, it tricks you for craving, over-eating and low-energy which makes you more difficult to lose weight.
  • Frequent drinking of water. Gives you the feeling of fullness which means it diverts your mind on thinking that you're hungry again. Trust me, this always works. You're not hungry, you're just dehydrated.
  • Cut out processed foods -- eat clean and look mean. Furthermore, cut the junk foods. It adds slabs of fat to your upper pubic area.
  • Cut back on alcohol or eliminate it totally. Ethanol isn't processed by our bodies. Let's be real, it weakens your motivation the day after meaning it is detrimental to your diet plan.
  • Be consistent. As the saying goes, slow progress is better than no progress.
